Getting to PerisherThere is no overnight parking in the resort during winter!
Most people arrive by the Ski Tube train which departs from Bullocks Flat, about 20 kms out of Jindabyne on the Alpine Way heading towards Thredbo. Option 1 - Ski Tube There is ample parking at the Bullocks Flat car park. See the Ski Tube timetable on Perisher's website. Option 2 - Drop off gear, then use ski tube You can drive to the ski tube terminal, unload skis & luggage, then have 1 person drive the car back to Bullocks Flat. This will save some of the cost of the Ski Tube, but you must pay an entrance fee to Kosciusko National Park. Please add up cost and time before choosing this option. Option 3 - Snowy Mountains Shuttles There is a shuttle service which is available for the Snowy Mountains Region. They offer a daily snow shuttle bus, private transport, Airport transfers and a valet service. Getting to the lodgeThe lodge is located 500 meters from the Skitube Terminal and is not accessible by car during winter.
Oversnow transportation is provided by 4Site, located in the upper level of the Skitube Terminal. 4Site's contact details are as follows: Location: Upper Level, Skitube Terminal Open: 7 days, 7:30am - 10:00pm Contact: [email protected] Phone: 02 6412 2244 If you don't have any luggage, you can walk - on exiting the terminal, turn right and proceed along the main road turning left between Eiger and Coroboree lodges. As you walk up the road, Aurora is located to the left on the rise behind Alpenhof. |
