How big is the lodge? How many rooms does it have?
The lodge has 8 rooms and can accommodate 16 persons - 2 persons per room per night.
What are your rates? Do they change through the season?
Rates change slightly throughout the season - please see our rates page for general rate info, or go to our availability calendar to see the full calendar.
Do you take single adult bookings?
Yes - but there is an additional charge. Please inquire for rates.
What is the minimum nights stay?
Two nights are our minimum. Our weeks run from Sunday to Sunday, seven nights, Sunday to Friday, Five nights and weekends, Friday to Sunday two nights. These runs are relaxed in the Value Season June, September and October where we will look at any night above the minimum of a two nights stays.
When is Check In & Check Out?
Check in is 3pm.
Early arrivals must email if they wish to store luggage. We are unable to guarantee that you will able to store your luggage at this time. PLEASE not before 9am as departing guests have our Lodge Manager’s full attention.
Check out is 9am.
Guests are asked to strip sheets only and take with towels down to Foyer Area. If you wish to ski on departure day you are again most welcome to leave luggage in games room. Please respect new guests that have moved in and stay downstairs when picking up luggage.

The rooms have all fresh linen, doonas, blankets and towels provided. As we are a Member Lodge all guests are asked to make own beds on arrival and strip on departure
Is the lodge managed? Is there staff on-site?
We have a live in Lodge Manager in the Snow Season.
Is the lodge catered?
Our Lodge Manager is a wonderful host and cook, providing a hot breakfast 7:30am-9am. In the evening, nibbles are served in front of the fire at 5pm in the lounge /dining area, followed by a three course evening meal at 6:30pm where all guest get to know each other around a very large table. Lunch is not provided. PLEASE NOTE - our Lodge Manager has WEDNESDAY NIGHT OFF no evening meal is provided. There are many restaurants and hotels to eat out at in Perisher on this night. Coffee and Tea are provided in the Drinks Nook, help yourself anytime. If you require a soft drink it may be purchased from the Lodge. You are most welcome to bring your own drinks. The supermarket at the Ski Tube has a Liquor section.

How do we get to the lodge?
Perisher has no long stay parking for guests. You must park at the Ski Tube in long stay parking provided at Ski Tube. Take Ski Tube train to Perisher, once in Perisher, luggage can be loaded into lift by attendants at platform. Luggage goes up to second level where you collect it.
Transport to Aurora Lodge - Oversnow transportation is provided by 4Site, located in the upper level of the Skitube Terminal. 4Site's contact details are as follows:

How far is the lodge from the ski tube terminal?
The Lodge is about 500 meters from the Ski Tube with an incline closer to the Lodge. Too far to walk with luggage in snow, only for the very fit.
Is the lodge ski in / ski out?
Conditions permitting, you are able to ski down from to the Lodge to the Quad chair, about 400 metres downhill. It is a short walk back to the Lodge. In the afternoon, 4Site operates a Skier’s Special rate after 3.30pm; check at desk for cost per person.
